First Tutorial
During the first tutorial, we were being introduced to what UIR is all about. After that, we proceeded to complete our practical worksheet 1. Before we started on the practical, we had to form our groups first. So my group members are Jingwen, Wen Yong and Wei Ming =D
Next, we had to each select a research topic. After much consideration, I selected the topic on "Discuss the impact of drugs abuse on youths". I had chosen this topic as i felt that there are quite alot of youths around my age now taking drugs. Therefore, i thought that this will be a topic worth researching on.
Based on the research topic that I had chosen, I had to search the internet for a Discussion Forum, Electronic journals and magazine and lastly a WWW site.
At the beginning, I had some difficulty in searching the various categories as maybe i had used the wrong keywords to search. But after several attempts of entering the different keywords to search, I had managed to find the resources to the different categories.

Well, this is basically what I had done for my first lab lesson. =) UIR is not that difficult after all! Haha! =D
My Reflection
For this tutorial, i have learnt the importance of using the right keywords to search for our information. If we are able to get the right keywords, we should have no problem in doing our research.
